⚠️ Emergency Alert 03-05-2026: The Sixth Street water tank is being drained and cleaned today. You may notice brown water. Due to sediment settling at the bottom of the tank, brown water is normal. Please run the cold water tap (preferably an outside spigot) until the water runs clear. Try to avoid running the hot water to clear the brown water as sediment can run through your water heater. We apologize for the inconvenience but this is a necessary process.

In addition, Rose Hill is home to the Duplin Winery, the oldest muscadine winery in North Carolina and the largest muscadine winery in the world . Rose Hill is also the town depicted in the blockbuster movie "Iron Man 3" and is also home to various specialty restaurants and shops.
